The Institute for Systemic Management and Public Governance is an academic research and consultation centre with regional roots, incorporating research centres for Tourism and Transport, Public Management and Governance, Regional Science and Organisation Studies.
We develop innovative and scientifically sound perspectives, methods, concepts and approaches to problem-solving in our specific work areas. We work with our partners to find promising business practices and sustainable foundations for decision-making for managers in private and public organisations and businesses.
Our work is based on collaboration between industry representatives, researchers and students. This allows us to analyse problems scientifically and to develop practical solutions for some of the challenges that are facing society.
The well-established and continuously developed St.Gallen Management Model provides an important reference framework for our undertakings.
